Privacy Policy

1. General provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out how the personal data of visitors to the website of the Ozernaya 38 holiday cottages (the “Website”), and of persons who contact the Operator by phone, email or through the online booking module, is processed and protected.

1.3. The Policy has been prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” and other regulations of the Russian Federation.

1.4. By using the Website, contacting the Operator or making a booking, you confirm that you have read this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please stop using the Website.

2. What data we process

• Data you provide yourself when you call, write or book: your name, phone number, email address, dates of stay, number of guests, requests and the content of your message.
• Booking data. The booking form on the Website is an embedded module of the Bnovo online booking service. Data entered there is processed by that service and passed to the Operator to confirm and fulfil the booking. The Website itself has no personal-data forms, and the Operator does not keep its own database of visitors on the Website.
• Technical data that the servers running the Website receive automatically: IP address, browser and device type, date and time of the request, and the address of the page requested. It is needed to operate and secure the Website.

The Operator does not process special categories of personal data (health, beliefs, etc.) or biometric data.

3. Purposes of processing

• communicating with the user, answering enquiries and providing advice;
• making, confirming, changing and fulfilling bookings, and concluding and performing the accommodation services contract;
• settlements with customers and record-keeping as required by law;
• keeping the Website running and secure;
• complying with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

4. Legal grounds

Processing is based on the data subject’s consent (the consent form is available here), on the need to conclude and perform a contract to which the data subject is a party, and on the Operator’s legal obligations.

5. Procedure and retention periods

5.1. The Operator performs the following actions with personal data: collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, amendment), retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access), blocking, deletion and destruction. Processing is carried out both with and without the use of automation tools.

5.2. Data is kept no longer than the purposes of processing require, unless a longer period is set by law (for example, for accounting and tax records). Once the purposes are achieved or consent is withdrawn, the data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Disclosure to third parties

The Operator does not sell personal data and does not share it for third-party marketing. Data may be accessible to:

• the operator of the Bnovo online booking service — to the extent necessary for the booking module to work (under that service’s own privacy policy);
• the hosting and infrastructure providers of the Website — to the extent necessary for it to work;
• public authorities — in the cases and in the manner provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

7. Cookies and third-party services

7.1. The Website does not use web analytics or advertising trackers. Only technical cookies are used: lang, which remembers the language you chose (stored for 1 year), and the session cookie of the private Website administration panel (available to the administrator only).

7.2. Embedded third-party services — the Bnovo booking module and Yandex Maps (map and reviews) — may set their own cookies and collect data under their own rules. You can restrict or disable cookies in your browser settings; some features of third-party services may then not work properly.

8. Data protection

The Operator takes the necessary legal, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unlawful access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying and distribution: data is transmitted over the secure HTTPS protocol, access to data is restricted, and passwords and signed sessions are used for the administrative part of the Website.

9. Rights of the data subject

You have the right to:

• obtain information about how your personal data is processed;
• require your data to be clarified, blocked or destroyed if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or no longer needed for the stated purpose;
• withdraw your consent to processing by writing to oderjimny@yandex.ru. The Operator stops processing within 30 days of receiving the withdrawal, unless the law requires otherwise;
• appeal the Operator’s actions to Roskomnadzor (the Russian data protection authority) or in court.

Send requests to oderjimny@yandex.ru, stating your name and contact details. The Operator responds to a request within 10 working days of receiving it (this period may be extended by no more than 5 working days, with notice of the reasons).

10. Changes to the Policy

The Operator may update the Policy. A new version takes effect once published on the Website unless stated otherwise. The current version is always available at this page.
